I was on my way to FL when i heard ‘applause’ by the talleys. It was so touching to me. It reassured me that God would really be proud of me…could the scripture that says we will get a crown of life be taken into the effect that our ‘applause’ from somebody saying they were influenced to accept Christ be our crown? Then to say it was not me, but Christ through me…would that be laying our crown back at his feet? …….. applause.. Great song

I can not believe what I’m seeing here! Some of you call yourselves friends and others fans but your default position is to try to expose some contradiction between what Amber says and your perception of reality. I don’t understand why everyone can’t take what she says at face value unless you have solid proof that she is being deceitful. I’ve never seen anything out of her that would cause me to assume her to be dishonest and its hardly a strain on the imagination to think that producers of a secular show such as American Idol would want her to do something that she finds morally questionable. They are after ratings. That is their only loyalty and they will do whatever they need to do to get them. It is a business. Was she good enough? Maybe, maybe not. We’ll never know, but apparently this isn’t the direction that God is taking her right now and frankly she is probably better off. Is she lying? We may never know that either, but then it is none of our business and it is not our calling to expose her for what we think happened. When you see someone doing a good work try to lift them up, not tear them down.

i for one do not believe for one second that AI was making her do anything of a sort. IF SO… They could have a law suit on their hands…. Their not that stupid. Look at phillip phillips… He isn’t changing his image at all, he’s gonna be who he wants to be! Quite frankly, I think that just maybe she couldn’t cut it, or wasn’t going through the next round so therefore she wants to bash AI bc of it. American Idol isn’t going to stop a contestant from dressing a certain way (look at phillip phillips) or keep them from singing gospel (they sung gospel in the past)
