This past Saturday evening, I spoke with Judy Martin Hess at the Gaither Homecoming concert, and she shared some information regarding their new projects releasing in June 2011. One is a brand new studio project, New Day, featuring their hit single, “Somebody like Me”, and their new release, “Unredeemed.”
1. Love Enough
2. New Day
3. Tell Them
4. Good to Me
5. All the Love in the World
6. Unredeemed
7. The Truth
8. Somebody like Me
9. Love’s Gonna Drive This Train
10. I Surrender
This project, and the other will be released through Gaither Music Group. The other project will be a DVD, The Best of the Martins: from the Gaither Homecoming Series. Here’s the official track list from this project.

Judging by the new studio cd & the “Best of” dvd, fans will get a hearty taste of the Martins’ stylistic moves through the years. New Day, produced by Jay DeMarcus (Rascal Flatts), offers fans an interesting look at the Martins’ country side, picking up where they left off with their last album release, Above It All (2003). However, their “Best of..” album offers fans the a cappella side as well as the more Contemporary influences their earlier music has. It will be interesting to hear the projects back to back when they release.
In the meantime, here are links to clips from the new cd, New Day, and selections on the “Best of..” collage.
